We build everyhome like we are going to live in it. That's why we go above and beyond when it comes to standards, pest protection, and the details we put in a home (see right).

Mold and Pests Protection
Most, if not all new homes built include some type of termite treatment. But, with traditional soil treatments there is the concern of chemicals leaching into nearby water sources as 300–500 gallons of pesticides are pumped into the ground under and around the home. I use a product called Bora–Care® that is a low-oder termicide that is applied directly to the wood, and that's all you treat. No chemicals are dumped into the ground. This process is more effective, providing superior protection against subterranean termites, Formosan termites, carpenter ants, old house borers and powder post beetles–it also prevents and controls wood decay fungi.

Standards
To be honest, industry standards are mediocre, and it takes a builder willing to put in the energy to rise above it. Take concrete, for example. Steel–reinforced concrete makes for superior foundations, not cinder block walls held together with masonry mix. Steel beams can span much longer spaces than wood, allowing open, airy rooms without support columns or walls. As well, engineered floor and ceiling joists are built to at least one size above code requirements.

Just a few of the extras we put in every home:

Casement windows (which provide the best thermal protection) are exclusively used throughout the home.

All cabinetry is custom built for the highest quality and design flexibility.

Each floor of a home has a dedicated heating and cooling unit.

All garages and garage doors are oversized for larger vehicle and/or boat storage.

Steps in and out of the home (especially in the garage) are kept to a minimum.

A good portion of the landscape design is given to outdoor living and entertainment space.

On-demand (instant) hot water heaters are used to greatly reduce natural gas consumption and provide an endless supply of hot water.

Every bedroom is designed to be spacious - including a private bathroom and walk-in closet.

Every room is electronically networked for sound, intercom, television, phone, computer, and security.

Secondary laundry rooms are provided in upstairs bedroom areas.

Upper levels of a home are serviced by at least two stairwells (or an elevator).
